Role Overview
Dog Water Studios is searching for a dedicated Undergraduate Programming Intern to support our engineering team as we prepare our upcoming titles for multi-platform release. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between core development and final deployment, ensuring our software architecture scales elegantly across different hardware ecosystems. You will gain hands-on experience navigating the complexities of modern game engines and the rigorous certification pipelines required by major console manufacturers.

Requirements
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program for Computer Science, Game Development, or a related technical field.
Demonstrable experience working with C++ and Blueprint visual scripting in Unreal Engine.
Strong foundational knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex systems efficiently.
Nice-to-Haves
Familiarity operating within Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and sprint-based development paradigms.
Experience using Perforce (P4V) and advanced branch management strategies.
Prior exposure to console SDKs, cross-platform porting, or rendering APIs.
A passion for narrative-driven games and educational titles.
