**Responsibilities**

Build and maintain Animation Blueprints in Unreal Engine

  • Create state machines, blend spaces, and layered animation systems.
  • Set up and maintain skeleton retargeting between characters.
  • Implement and manage Control Rig for runtime and procedural animation.
  • Integrate animations into gameplay systems and character controllers.
  • Debug animation bugs, mismatches, and runtime issues.
  • Optimize animation systems for performance and scalability.
  • Work closely with animators, designers, and programmers.
  • **Qualifications**

  • Mid-level or Senior experience as a Technical Animator
  • Strong Unreal Engine experience with Animation Blueprints.
  • Experience with retargeting skeletons and animation assets.
  • Solid understanding of Control Rig, IK, and locomotion systems.
  • Experience using Maya or equivalent (Blender, MotionBuilder, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Experience working in a game development production environment.
  • Nice to have

  • Experience with procedural animation.
  • Experience with UE5 systems (IK Retargeter, Motion Warping, etc.)
  • Experience with networked or multiplayer characters.
  • Familiarity with gameplay-driven animation systems.
