**Responsibilities**

  • Develop core gameplay systems in Unreal Engine 5 using Blueprints (C++ is a plus)
  • Build and implement:
  • 3v3 team-based game mode logic (round system, win conditions, team swapping)
  • Bomb planting and defusal system (interaction, progress, interruption)
  • City health system (global state manager affecting gameplay)
  • NPC AI systems using Behavior Trees (police vs hostile NPCs)
  • Basic combat framework (damage, health, ability triggers)
  • Set up player systems:
  • Movement (ground, dash, teleport, flight-ready structure)

  • Input handling and ability activation
  • Create a scalable system structure that supports future abilities and characters
  • Optimize performance for multiplayer environments
  • **Qualifications**

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 5 (Blueprints required, C++ preferred)
  • Strong understanding of gameplay systems design (NOT just visuals)
  • Experience with:
  • AI Behavior Trees and NPC logic
  • Multiplayer replication (very important)
  • GameMode, GameState, PlayerState architecture

  • Ability to build modular, scalable systems
  • Understanding of performance optimization in UE5
  • Ability to take a concept and turn it into a working prototype
