**Responsibilities**
Design and implement gameplay systems in Unreal Engine 5
Develop performant systems using C++ and/or Blueprints
Current priority systems include:
Audio management system
Enemy revival mechanics
Input system for combat
Work with existing gameplay code without impacting performance
Collaborate asynchronously with artists and musicians
**Qualifications**
Experience with Unreal Engine 5
Comfortable with Blueprints, C++, or a mix of both
Understanding of performance-aware gameplay programming
Ability to work independently and communicate progress clearly
Interest in Soulslike or dark fantasy games is a strong plus
Hobby / indie experience is totally fine (no shipped titles required)
