**Responsibilities**
Wasteland 3–style tactical RPG project -Create, modify, and optimize 3D assets for a tactical RPG project, including props, environment pieces, modular assets, weapons, debris, and worldbuilding details.
Work closely with the level design and art direction needs of the project to build believable, readable, and gameplay-friendly environments. Support asset creation from blockout to final implementation, including modeling, UVs, texturing, material setup, collision, LODs, and in-engine placement.
Assist with scene dressing, lighting support, asset cleanup, optimization, and iteration based on feedback.
**Qualifications**
Experience as a 3D Generalist, Environment Artist, Prop Artist, or similar role.
Strong understanding of modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, materials, scale, composition, optimization, and real-time asset workflows.
Experience with Unreal Engine is required. Experience with Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Substance Painter/Designer, ZBrush, or similar tools is preferred.
Good eye for grounded, worn, and lived-in environments. Ability to create assets that support gameplay readability and visual storytelling.
Portfolio required, especially examples of game-ready props, environments, modular kits, or real-time 3D assets.
