**Responsibilities**
*Upgrade* is a 3rd-person action-adventure, set in a futuristic city where vampire oligarchs are controlling the society; with fast-paced parkour, brutal combat, realistic visual style, bright and vibrant tone.
We are currently in the prototyping phase, expected to last 8–10 months. After that, we plan to pursue Kickstarter, publisher, or investor funding. Once funded, we expect approximately two additional years of development until release.
Everyone joining the team during the prototyping phase will receive rev-share agreement. Exact percentages will be calculated in Q1 2026.
If the project takes off, you will be offered to stay in the team on a classic paid role basis, extended rev-share, or a combination of both.
**Qualifications**
Art Director:
Establish the game’s visual identity by creating a Visual Style Guide and oversee all future visual content (concept art, 3D art, VFX) to ensure a coherent and consistent art style. Someone with 2D or 3D art background.
Unreal Engine Gameplay Programmer:
Implement gameplay systems. Someone experienced in building gameplay mechanics in Unreal Engine. C++ knowledge is welcome but not required.
