**Responsibilities**
Cyquential Studios (https://www.cyquentialai.com/psychophrenesis) is currently looking for a Level Designer to create 2D mockups, whiteboxes, road layouts, and photogrammetry prop placements for an upcoming police pursuit extraction game. As a small studio of 5, you will be responsible for the creation of new maps that focus on making the stealth and pursuit mechanics in this game shine, as well as touch up work for our 6 existing maps. This is a nine month full time remote contract position primarily focused on design + whiteboxes.
**Qualifications**
Experience with any of the tasks mentioned above
Knowledge of best level design practices
Knowledge of stealth and pursuit based level design, where the player needs to leverage hiding, sneaking and running (think: games like Metal Gear Solid, Spy Mouse, Splinter Cell, Need for Speed, Pizza Possum, and Thief)
Experience with Unreal Engine, primarily with the landscaping and foliage tools and white boxing
Strong artistic and visual skills, as well as a proven design philosophy and existing proof of concepts
Ability to work independently and remotely
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Located in Ohio (not required, we are primarily a remote team!)
