Scopely is looking for a Global Health & Safety Partner to join our People team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis working 2 days a week from the hub. This is a fixed term contract of 8 months, maternity cover assignment.

What You Will Do
As the Global Health & Safety Partner, you will help drive and maintain Scopely’s global workplace health, safety, and emergency preparedness programs. You’ll partner closely with Facilities, Security, People, and Leadership teams to ensure our employees feel safe, supported, and prepared across our global offices.
This role combines operational execution, compliance oversight, employee wellbeing, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a key role in supporting Scopely’s duty of care commitments while helping foster a positive and people-first workplace experience.
Health & Safety Operations & Compliance
- Lead and maintain Scopely’s global Health & Safety programs, policies, and procedures
- Drive the global H&S governance framework, annual roadmap, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety regulations and duty of care obligations across office locations
- Coordinate global standards while ensuring local regulatory adaptation and compliance in partnership with local teams and external providers
- Help drive global safety standards, best practices, and governance initiatives
- Partner with Legal, Facilities, and Security teams to address compliance and operational safety matters
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting related to health and safety programs
- Support audits, inspections, and corrective/preventive action plans across global offices
- Support annual H&S budget planning, forecasting, and prioritization across global hubs
- Manage relationships with external occupational health, prevention, training, and emergency preparedness vendors
Emergency Preparedness & Response
- Coordinate and support emergency preparedness initiatives, including:
- First Aid / CPR / AED programs
- Emergency response training
- Fire drills and evacuation planning
- Emergency communication processes
- Ensure emergency equipment and supplies are maintained and compliant
- Partner with local office teams to support incident response and workplace readiness
- Support incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Training, Communication & Employee Engagement
- Own and coordinate global health and safety training strategies and mandatory compliance training programs
- Coordinate and deliver health and safety training programs globally
- Support employee communications related to workplace safety and emergency preparedness
- Develop training matrices, refresher training plans, and awareness campaigns
- Help manage Safety Ambassador programs and employee awareness initiatives
- Promote a culture of safety, wellbeing, and shared responsibility across the organization
People Care & Employee Support
- Partner with the People Team to support employee health and mental health initiatives
- Contribute to programs that enhance employee wellbeing and psychological safety in the workplace
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on workplace health and safety topics
- Drive ergonomic assessment programs and workplace accommodation initiatives across office-based, remote, and hybrid work environments
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate closely with Facilities, Security, People Operations, and Leadership teams to ensure alignment across global offices
- Support ongoing process improvements and operational efficiencies within the Health & Safety function
- Assist with audits, reporting, vendor coordination, and program administration as needed
- Influence stakeholders across multiple functions and regions to drive consistent H&S standards globally
What We’re Looking For
- University Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention
- 4+ years of experience in Health & Safety, Workplace Safety, EHS, or related operational roles
- Experience supporting workplace safety programs in multi-site or global organizations
- Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations, emergency preparedness, and compliance practices
- Experience managing audits, inspections, risk assessments, and corrective action plans
- Experience working with external vendors, occupational health providers, and training partners
- Ability to work independently while managing sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams
