**Responsibilities**
**Asset Modification: **Take high-quality Marketplace animation assets (rigged to UE5 Manny) and modify them to fit our gameplay needs.**In-Place Conversion:** Convert root-motion weapon swings into in-place animations suitable for Upper Body Layering. Our combat allows players to move while attacking; therefore, animations must look powerful and fluid on the upper body while blending seamlessly with independent lower-body locomotion (jogging/strafing).**New Animation Creation:** Create new attacks, parries, and reactions from scratch to fill gaps in our library.**UE5 Implementation:** Ensure all animations are rigged correctly to the default UE5 Mannequin skeleton and import cleanly into the engine.**Qualifications**
Strong portfolio demonstrating 3D melee combat animation (swords, heavy weapons, shields).Deep understanding of Unreal Engine 5 pipelines and the UE5 Mannequin Skeleton.Experience creating animations specifically for Layered Blending (separating upper body attacks from lower body movement).Ability to produce weighty, impactful animations that fit a mature, dark fantasy aesthetic.Reliable communication and ability to work on a flexible, per-task schedule.**How to Apply**
