**Responsibilities**

Ludum Elite is an independent game studio currently developing DroneTanks, a stylized singleplayer roguelike. After completing our prototype, we plan to launch a large-scale Kickstarter campaign to finance full production.

Our team consists of experienced developers across gameplay, audio, VFX, animation, rigging, and programming, including talent with AAA backgrounds. We are a small, focused team that values ownership, precision, and technical excellence.

We are looking for a highly technical Unreal Engine programmer who can take ownership of the core technical side of the project.

**Qualifications**

Strong experience with Unreal Engine (C++)

Solid understanding of graphics programming / rendering pipelines

Experience customizing or extending Unreal Engine systems

Knowledge of networking and multiplayer code (replication, authority models, prediction)

Experience with build pipelines, packaging, and platform-specific constraints

Strong focus on precision, performance, and system robustness

Ability to work independently and take full technical ownership

Professional mindset and clear communication skills

Extras

Experience with console or low-spec optimization

Familiarity with Unreal source builds

Experience shipping commercial games

Interest in roguelike systems or systemic gameplay

Important Requirements

Must be based in Belgium!
