**Responsibilities**
Neem is a multi-title indie studio building a slate of original titles across immersive and PC. We’re a lean team of 10+ senior developers, artists, and producers with a game jam culture: tight scoping, fast prototyping, and high velocity.
Neem is looking for a character animator who can collaborate with engineering and get animation fully implemented in UE5.
Key Responsibilities:
Create fun, stylized character animations for a first-person game (movement, actions, transitions, reactions)Implement animation in UE5: Animation Blueprints, State Machines / Blend SpacesWork with engineering to ensure animation systems are performant, readable, and scalableIterate quickly from playtest feedback (snappiness, readability, timing, “feel”)**Qualifications**
3+ years professional character animation experience.Hands-on UE5 experience implementing animations (not just exporting).Strong understanding of locomotion systems, timing, anticipation, and game-feel in interactive contexts.Ability to work inside an established pipeline and deliver consistently.Bonus:
Experience with first-person body awareness / arms rigs / camera-coupled animation considerationsExperience collaborating on animation-driven gameplay (root motion vs in-place tradeoffs, hit-reactions, etc.)**How to Apply**
