Blueprint Gameplay Implementer (Level & Systems)

**Responsibilities**

- Connect landscape materials with gameplay systems

- Support implementation of general gameplay features

- Assist with multiplayer session functionality

- Create and maintain data-driven systems using Data Tables

- Dynamic Materials created on runtime from Data tables

Do you love RTS games, city builders, and medieval castles? Would you like to grow with a project and take ownership of your area of expertise?

We are a small indie game studio currently developing our debut title: a historical real-time strategy game set in the High Middle Ages (around 1200 A.D.).

We are looking for remote team members interested in a paid hourly collaboration. We value open communication and expect team members to stay in touch at least once per week via text chat. Participation in our weekly team meeting on Fridays at 4:00 PM CEST is welcome but not required.

**Qualifications**

- Understanding of OOP principles and writing clean, maintainable code

- Ability to work with existing codebase without breaking legacy systems

- Understanding of component-based design and actor-component relationships

- Basic understanding of Git-based version control

- Familiarity with Blueprint communication systems (Delegates, Interfaces, Gameplay Tags, Data Tables)

- General understanding of Landscape Materials and Auto-Landscape workflows

- Experience working with foliage systems

- Ability to work closely with other team members

- Open communication and regular feedback exchange

- Bonus Skills:

o Behavior Trees

o Animation Blueprints

o UI Widgets (UMG)

o Procedural Foliage

o MetaSounds
