**Responsibilities**

I am looking for an artist to work with me to create animations and models for a cozy and engaging blacksmithing game. I am developing the game using Unreal Engine 5.6

I need someone to work with me on the game quite urgently and need animations done within the next month. To get an idea of the current work done, you can check the steam page for the game: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4838310/NPC_Blacksmith_Simulator/

Main responsibilities include:

Edit and adjust the existing 3D models using Blender

Help rig and animate characters or objects (most characters are rigged but better animations are required, some objects like weapons may need simple bone rigs)

Work with shape keys and export them as morph targets for Unreal Engine

Prepare and export assets so they work correctly in Unreal Engine

Make basic changes to UVs, textures, and materials if needed

Fix any issues with rigs, animations, or exports

**Qualifications**

Experience working with blender creating 3d models, editing textures and UVs

Experience animating 3d models in Blender or Unreal

Knowledge of blender to unreal workflow

Experience working with shape keys in blender is preferred

Experience working with anim blueprints in unreal is a plus

Strong eye for animation quality and attention to detail.

Ability to review and polish animations independently before submission, identifying and correcting technical issues if any

Comfortable troubleshooting animation, rigging, and retargeting issues independently when they arise.

The project is on a tight schedule, so the ability to work quickly while maintaining quality is important.
